In an Interview of Yu Suzuki realised by Xbox Nation before Shenmue 2 was released on XBox, Yu Suzuki says that a character has been removed from the Japanese Shenmue 2 version (on Dreamcast) to the American Shenmue 2 version (on Xbox). This character is called Ewan and he is gay. Here comes the passage about of the interview:

Suzuki: [...] and some of the characters have also been tweaked.

XBN: How have some characters been tweaked?

Suzuki: We have a gay character in the japanese version called Ewan. We removed him for the American version.

XBN: Why?

Suzuki: We're not sure how well it would go down with players outside Japan. We changed the character to a woman.

XBN: Do you think U.S. gamers aren't ready for a gay character?

Suzuki: Maybe. Anyway, he was sort of camp and we're not sure about his whole representation.

XBN: I see.

You see! So my question is: Who is Ewan? Actually I live in France (in Marseille) and consequently I have got the Dreamcast pal version of Shenmue 2. And I suppose that this character hadn't been changed in the European version. So I must have already seen him in shenmue 2!
Does someone knows who is he? Maybe someone has got a picture of him?
