Could_anyone_explain? http://i10.ebayimg.com/02/i/01/1b/59/07_1.JPG I've seen this demo up for auction. It's quite expensive, but I want it. Does anyone know what the demo consists of? Is it a side quest like Whats Shenmue? I hear it's very rare and expensive in Japan.

I also saw this on ebay. It's that kind of demo that sold free in shops, and now it's very expensive, but it's very hard to find. The same person who sale this item have also a phone card and other merchandise about shenmue, but all at super expensive prices! :/

Although_it_is_a_guess... I think it is the disk for a demonstration in the game store. I don't know whether it is right or wrong. About the disk, I want information from someone who knows than us.

Kiyuu_says It has about 3 minutes of promotional footage.. Surely there is more than that! I figured there would be gameplay. a few mins of footage isn't worth what I am bidding at right now.. $43. When did game store demos for Shenmue II first start coming in Japan?

Well... It is too expensive. If there is someone who is working part time in the game store, we may understand something about the disk. If it is the demonstration for the game shops of Shenmue 2, I will think it was used about two years ago. Or it may be the disk distributed in GAME SHOW. I'm sorry, I can't understand any more. Don't someone of Japanese fans know about this disk?

遅くなりましたが… 私は実際に、そのディスク、IIの発売前にTSU○AYAで借りて見たんです。 ３分にも満たないプロモ映像しか入っていませんでした。LanDCさんには 直接そのことを伝えましたが、すでに入札してしまってたようで…。

あらら… 2000円も出したんですか！中身をご存じなかったのでしょうか？ でもまあ、43ドル（4700円程度？）よりはましですね！（苦笑） 確かにレアものですから、コレクターズアイテムには違いありませんし…。 私は、II発売前に無料でレンタルしてビデオに録りましたけど、発売後は まったく見てませんでしたね。今回、久々にチェックしましたが…。

Too_late? As I said, it's just a 3 minute movie. No gameplay. Now that you've played Shenmu II, nothing in the disk would be surprising. Sorry! It's extremely rare, though, as it's for the game stores only. I guess the demo of II started to hit the game stores about a month before the date of release, Sept. 6. I heard someone saw it at a store around August 10. I rented it from a store at no charge perhaps on the 19th, right after I heard we could rent it.

Ah... 3 minutes movie for 50 dollars... :( Kiyuu, the magic day that Shenmue 2 was released, it was my birthday :D A very great birthday present for me from Sega :)

Yes I'm born to be a Shenmue fan :D I like all the ting in Shenmue, the 80's, martial arts, the winter (in Shenmue 1), the old sega arcade,Japan and oriental culture etc. Yu Suzuki has made a game that include all the thungs that i like. Great :D

やはり シェンムーは海外の方に人気があるんですね。 海外のシェンムーサイト見ててすごいなーと思いますもんw 英語があまり得意でないので海外のシェンムーファンの方々と コミュニケーション取れないのが悲しいです。つД｀) エキサイトとかで翻訳して何となく言いたいことを理解しているぐらいですから。 英語が出来るみなさんがうらやましいです。

そうですね 海外の皆さんの情熱はスゴイです。まあ、情報が直接伝わらないことも あって、誤報や怪しいウワサなどで大騒ぎしてることも多いですが…。 ここに来る皆さんは、英語が母国語でない人も多いので、あまり難しく 考えずにレスしてみてはいかがですか？簡単な英語でも大丈夫ですよ。
